Baclyser® neo T Max

Terminal water tap sterilisation filter with longer service life and higher flow rate

Baclyser® neo T Max is a terminal water tap sterilisation filter1 for use in high-risk areas in medical facilities. It is used to prevent bacterial nosocomial infections caused by Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Legionella pneumophila or other germs in immunosuppressed and immunocompromised patients. It works by interrupting the transmission route of these germs through water filtration and protecting against retrograde contamination when using water outlets through hygienic design and antimicrobial protection functions.

Important note: The Baclyser® neo T Max is an advanced filter version with improved flow rate, increased capacity, optimised protection thanks to MetalSkin® coating at the outlet, and impresses with the lowest head loss at the washbasin.

  • Terminal pleated membrane filter with 0.2 μm Pore size
  • Available in 2 different service lives (3M and 4M)
  • Best retrograde protection thanks to MetalSkin® coating at the outlet2
  • Very high capacity over the entire service life
  • Smart design: minimal height loss, angled outlet for improved comfort and hygiene
  • Easy installation via quick-release coupling

Technical Data

  • Dimensions: Ø = 86 mm; L = 69 mm
  • Retention capacity: 7 log-levels3
  • Membrane: Flat membrane, 0.2 μm Pore size
  • Service life: 3M and 4M4
  • Flow rate: 15.5 l/min at 5 bar, 13.1 l/min at 3 bar
  • Max. operating temperature: 60 °C (at 75 °C ≤ 90 min over operating time)
  • Adaptation: Quick-release coupling
  • Max. operating pressure: 5 bar *
  • Chlorine resistance: ≤ 10 ppm 6
  • Chlorine dioxide resistance: ≤ 0,8 mg/L

Ø = diameter, L=length, M=months
1Sterile filtration: germ retention ≥ 107 B.diminuta CFU/cm² filter area (i.e. ≥ 7 log levels).
2Externally laboratory validated according to ISO 22196:2011-08.
3Measured according to international standard ASTM F838-20 – Standard Test Method for Determining Bacterial Retention of Membrane Filters Utilised for Liquid Filtration.
4Depending on water quality. When using the Aqua free filter replacement service, the filter is replaced every 12 or 16 weeks.
5The Baclyser® neo T Max must not be connected to low-pressure systems.
6Continuous dosing of ≤ 10 ppm over the service life; short-term (1 hour) high dosing (400,000 ppm) for chemical disinfection.
*With a continuous inflow of 60°C warm water
