Comprehensive disinfection of sterile water filters (reusable and disposable)

Preparation: Please carry out thorough hand disinfection in advance and wear disposable gloves.

Required utensils: 3 x small new (dry and lint-free) cotton cloths, surface disinfectant.

To note: Ensure that the surfaces are sufficiently wetted with the disinfectant. Wait for the disinfectant to react (approx. 1 minute) before taking water from the tap again.

1. Wipe away any remaining water from the filter outlet with a new, dry (lint-free) cotton cloth.

2. Soak a second cotton cloth with a surface disinfectant (or use a pre-soaked cloth) and wipe carefully over the entire housing.

3. Carefully wipe the outlet with another pre-soaked or self-soaked cotton cloth so that it is well disinfected.

This wipe disinfection can be used with all our disposable (Baclyser®) and reusable (Germlyser®) filters.
